Ethical Use & Human Rights Statement

iamadroid’s commitment to lawful, responsible and ethical use of AI Agents, AI Phone, Business Phone and related communications services.

Summary: iamadroid is committed to operating lawfully, responsibly and with respect for human rights. We do not knowingly provide services for use cases that facilitate serious human-rights abuse, including genocide, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity, slavery, human trafficking, forced displacement, unlawful persecution, torture, violent extremist activity, unlawful surveillance, coercion or exploitation. This statement applies to our AI Agents, AI Phone, Business Phone, websites, software, suppliers, customers and business partners.

1. Purpose of this Statement

This Ethical Use & Human Rights Statement explains iamadroid’s approach to responsible technology, human rights and ethical use of our services. It is intended to support customers, suppliers, enterprise procurement teams, compliance reviewers and other stakeholders who need assurance that iamadroid takes responsible use seriously.

This statement should be read alongside our Terms of Service, Acceptable Use Policy, Privacy Policy, Security page, Data Protection & GDPR page and Modern Slavery & Human Trafficking Statement.

2. Our Human Rights Commitment

iamadroid respects human dignity, equality, privacy, safety, freedom from exploitation and internationally recognised human rights. We do not knowingly support, facilitate or enable:

  • genocide, ethnic cleansing, crimes against humanity or war crimes;
  • slavery, servitude, forced labour, child labour or human trafficking;
  • torture, unlawful detention, forced disappearance or forced displacement;
  • unlawful persecution based on race, religion, nationality, ethnicity, sex, gender, disability, political opinion or other protected status;
  • violent extremism, terrorist activity or organised violence;
  • unlawful surveillance, coercion, intimidation or harassment;
  • deceptive, exploitative or abusive communications targeting vulnerable people.

iamadroid does not take political positions on every global dispute. However, we maintain a clear ethical position against serious human-rights abuse and unlawful use of our services.

3. About iamadroid Services

iamadroid provides business communication and automation tools, including:

  • AI Agents: website AI chat agents for lead capture, customer support, receptionist-style routing, appointment requests, ecommerce pre-sales and knowledge answers.
  • AI Phone: AI voice agent and IVR-style call handling for answering, qualifying, routing and summarising business calls.
  • Business Phone: normal non-AI business telephony, including business number and call-handling features.

These tools are designed for legitimate business communication, customer service, sales support, appointment handling and professional call management.

4. Responsible Use of AI Agents

Customers must use iamadroid AI Agents responsibly, transparently and lawfully. AI Agents must not be configured or used to:

  • mislead users about who they are interacting with where disclosure is legally required;
  • generate or distribute hate, harassment, abuse, threats or discriminatory content;
  • manipulate, coerce or exploit vulnerable individuals or groups;
  • support deceptive recruitment, forced labour, trafficking or exploitative job offers;
  • provide high-risk professional advice without appropriate human oversight;
  • make final decisions about rights, benefits, employment, credit, housing, healthcare or legal outcomes without required safeguards;
  • collect sensitive personal data unlawfully or without proper notices, consent or lawful basis;
  • scale spam, scams, phishing, impersonation or fraudulent communications.

5. Responsible Use of AI Phone and Business Phone

AI Phone and Business Phone services must be used only for lawful, ethical business communication. Customers must not use phone numbers, AI voice agents, IVR, call routing, voicemail, transcripts, summaries or related features to:

  • harass, threaten, intimidate, stalk or abuse any person;
  • impersonate public authorities, emergency services, banks, employers, courts, regulators or other trusted entities;
  • conduct scams, phishing, social engineering, nuisance calling, robocalling or unlawful telemarketing;
  • coordinate exploitation, trafficking, coercion, unlawful recruitment or forced labour;
  • target people based on protected characteristics for abuse, exclusion or intimidation;
  • conduct unlawful surveillance, monitoring, recording or call interception;
  • facilitate violent extremism, organised violence or serious criminal activity;
  • misrepresent caller identity, spoof caller ID or bypass telecommunications rules.

iamadroid services are not emergency services and must not be configured to replace emergency operators, emergency dispatch, urgent safety intervention or emergency calling routes.

6. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for how they configure, deploy and use iamadroid services. Customers must:

  • comply with applicable laws, regulations, industry rules and telecommunications rules;
  • provide required privacy notices, AI disclosures, call-recording notices and consents;
  • test agents, phone flows, routing logic and escalation paths before public use;
  • review AI outputs, transcripts, summaries and automated actions where appropriate;
  • avoid high-risk, harmful, deceptive, exploitative or unlawful use cases;
  • maintain human oversight for sensitive, regulated or high-impact workflows;
  • ensure their own employees, contractors and users understand appropriate use of the service.

7. Supplier and Partner Expectations

iamadroid expects suppliers, contractors, partners and professional advisers to act lawfully, responsibly and consistently with this statement. We expect suppliers and partners to avoid involvement in serious human-rights abuse, modern slavery, unlawful discrimination, corruption, exploitation or harmful misuse of technology.

Where appropriate, iamadroid may assess suppliers, review contractual commitments, request further assurance, or terminate relationships where serious ethical or human-rights concerns arise.

8. High-Risk Use Cases

iamadroid may apply additional review, restriction or refusal where a customer, supplier or use case creates heightened risk. Examples include:

  • political persuasion, voter targeting or sensitive public-interest communications;
  • law enforcement, immigration, defence, intelligence or surveillance-related use cases;
  • employment, housing, credit, healthcare, legal or financial decision-making;
  • services aimed at children, vulnerable people or people in crisis;
  • bulk outbound calling or messaging with elevated abuse risk;
  • operations in high-risk jurisdictions or sanctioned contexts;
  • any use case involving credible risk of serious harm, coercion or rights abuse.

iamadroid may decline, suspend or restrict use cases that we believe are inconsistent with our legal, ethical, safety or human-rights commitments.

9. AI Transparency and Human Oversight

iamadroid supports transparent and accountable use of AI. Customers should clearly disclose AI interaction where required by law or where it is necessary to avoid misleading users.

AI outputs, call summaries, transcripts, classifications and routing decisions may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for some situations. Customers must apply human review and oversight where the context is sensitive, regulated, high-impact or likely to affect a person’s rights, safety, finances, health, employment or access to services.

10. Privacy, Data Protection and Security

Ethical use includes responsible handling of personal data. Customers must collect and process personal data lawfully, provide required notices, obtain required consents and avoid uploading or collecting sensitive data unless legally permitted and appropriate for the service.

iamadroid applies security and data-protection controls described in our Privacy Policy, Security page and Data Protection & GDPR page.

11. Prohibited Content and Conduct

The following are not permitted through iamadroid services:

  • illegal activity or instructions to commit illegal activity;
  • hate speech, discriminatory abuse or dehumanising content;
  • violent extremist content or terrorist support;
  • fraud, phishing, scams, impersonation or deceptive communications;
  • harassment, threats, coercion or intimidation;
  • sexual exploitation, child exploitation or abuse material;
  • human trafficking, forced labour, deceptive recruitment or exploitative employment activity;
  • unlawful surveillance, doxxing, stalking or privacy invasion;
  • abusive automation, spam, nuisance calling or telecommunications misuse;
  • any use prohibited by our Acceptable Use Policy.

12. Monitoring, Enforcement and Remediation

iamadroid may investigate suspected misuse, including reports from customers, users, suppliers, regulators, carriers, service providers or members of the public. Where appropriate, we may:

  • request further information from the customer, supplier or partner;
  • require configuration changes, removal of content or corrective action;
  • limit, suspend or terminate access to services;
  • block numbers, scripts, agents, traffic, accounts or integrations;
  • preserve records, logs or evidence where appropriate;
  • notify carriers, regulators, law enforcement or other authorities where required or appropriate.

Enforcement decisions are made on a proportionate, risk-based basis and may take account of legal obligations, user safety, human-rights risk, telecommunications requirements and platform integrity.

13. Reporting Ethical or Human Rights Concerns

Employees, contractors, customers, suppliers, users and members of the public may report suspected misuse, human-rights concerns or unethical use of iamadroid services.

Please include enough information for us to assess the concern, such as account details, page URLs, phone numbers, screenshots, timestamps, message examples or other relevant context where available.

14. Continuous Improvement

Responsible technology practices evolve as laws, AI capabilities, telecommunications rules and customer needs change. iamadroid may update this statement, product controls, acceptable-use rules, supplier expectations and compliance processes as our services and risk profile develop.

15. Approval and Review

This statement is approved by iamadroid management and is intended to be reviewed at least annually, or sooner if there are material changes to our products, legal obligations, supplier relationships, customer use cases or risk profile.
