1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites or online services. They help websites work, keep users logged in, remember preferences, support security, understand usage and improve performance.
This Cookie Policy also covers similar technologies, such as local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, SDKs, scripts, device identifiers and server logs, where they are used for similar purposes.
2. Scope of this Policy
This policy applies to cookies and similar technologies used on:
- iamadroid.com and related public pages;
- account registration, login and billing pages;
- admin dashboards and customer account areas;
- AI Agent widgets embedded on customer websites;
- AI Phone and Business Phone dashboards, setup screens and analytics pages;
- support, contact, checkout and legal pages.
If an iamadroid customer embeds an AI Agent on their own website, that customer may also use their own cookies, analytics or tracking tools. Their own cookie notice and privacy notice may apply.
3. How We Use Cookies
iamadroid may use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
- Essential operation: to load pages, run the website, process forms and provide core Service functionality.
- Authentication and security: to log users in, maintain sessions, prevent fraud, protect accounts and detect misuse.
- Preferences: to remember cookie choices, interface preferences, currency, language, region or display settings.
- AI Agent functionality: to support embedded website agents, chat sessions, visitor sessions, conversation continuity and widget configuration.
- Billing and checkout: to support payment flows, subscription setup, plan selection and fraud prevention.
- Analytics and performance: to understand page usage, errors, product performance and service quality.
- Marketing: to understand campaign performance or improve communications, where enabled and legally permitted.

5. Example Cookies and Similar Technologies
The exact cookies used may change as we update the Service, improve security, change providers or add features. The following examples show the types of technologies that may be used.
6. AI Agent Widgets on Customer Websites
When a customer embeds an iamadroid AI Agent on their website, the widget may use session identifiers, local storage, cookies or similar technologies to provide chat functionality, maintain conversation context, prevent abuse, apply rate limits and operate the widget.
The customer operating the website is responsible for explaining its own use of the AI Agent widget in its privacy and cookie notices, and for obtaining any consents required for that website.
7. AI Phone and Business Phone
AI Phone and Business Phone services are primarily telephony services and may not rely on browser cookies during the call itself. However, cookies and similar technologies may be used in the dashboard, billing area, call-configuration screens, analytics pages, support pages or account areas used to manage phone services.
Call logs, metadata, recordings, transcripts and summaries are addressed in our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.
8. Third-Party Cookies and Providers
Some cookies or similar technologies may be set by third-party providers that help us operate the Service, such as hosting providers, payment processors, analytics providers, security providers, email providers, AI providers, telecoms providers or embedded-service providers.
We do not use cookies to sell personal information. If marketing or advertising cookies are introduced, they will be used only where legally permitted and, where required, with consent.
9. Managing or Disabling Cookies
You can manage, block or delete cookies using your browser settings. You may also use any cookie controls we make available, such as a cookie banner or cookie settings page.
- Blocking essential cookies may prevent login, dashboard access, checkout, account security or AI Agent functionality from working properly.
- Blocking AI Agent session storage may prevent chat continuity or widget functionality.
- Analytics and marketing cookies, where used, can normally be rejected or withdrawn through consent controls where legally required.
10. Consent and Withdrawal
Where the law requires consent for non-essential cookies or similar technologies, we will request that consent before using those technologies. You can withdraw or change consent using the cookie tools we make available, or by adjusting your browser settings.
Essential cookies and similar technologies may remain active because they are required to provide the website, dashboard, account security, checkout, AI Agent widget or other requested Service functionality.
11. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Controls
Some browsers or devices offer “Do Not Track” or global privacy preference signals. The way these signals work is not uniform across all browsers and services. Where legally required and technically feasible, we will respect applicable opt-out preference signals.
12. Updates to this Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as we change the Service, add features, change providers, or update legal requirements. The effective date below shows the latest revision.
