How refunds, cancellations, upgrades, and renewals work for iamaDroid plans.

Summary: iamaDroid offers a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee on the first payment of a new paid plan. Cancellations must be submitted in writing to support@iamadroid.com within 30 days of that first payment for a full refund. Upgrades are billed immediately and reset your renewal date to the upgrade date.

1. Plans & Billing Cycles

  • Free & Paid: You may start on a free plan or subscribe to any paid plan at any time.
  • Billing frequency: Paid plans are billed monthly or annually, as selected during checkout.
  • Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled prior to renewal.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee (First Payment Only)

  • Window: You may cancel for a full refund within 30 days from the date of the first payment.
  • How to cancel: Send written notice to support@iamadroid.com from your account email.
  • Scope: The guarantee applies only once per customer for the first payment of the initial paid subscription.
  • Exclusions: Not available for renewals, plan upgrades, add-ons, voice minutes, overages, or usage-based charges.
  • Processing: Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method; processing times vary by provider.

3. Eligibility & Abuse Prevention

  • No refund if the Service has been used in violation of our Terms or Acceptable Use Policy.
  • We may deny refunds for suspected fraud, duplicate or linked accounts, or attempts to repeatedly claim first-payment guarantees.
  • One Money-Back Guarantee redemption per customer (including affiliated or successor accounts).

4. Cancellations (after 30 days)

  • How to cancel: Written email to support@iamadroid.com is required.
  • Effective date: Cancellation takes effect upon confirmation; no refunds for the current billing period after the 30-day window.
  • Access: Access may end immediately upon cancellation; data is handled per Section 6 (Data & Account Effects).

5. Upgrades, Downgrades & Renewals

  • Upgrades: Charged immediately at the time of upgrade; your renewal date and billing cycle reset to the upgrade date.
  • Downgrades: Take effect at the next renewal; no proration or refund for the remaining period.
  • Renewals: Billed automatically on the renewal date (monthly or annually). Cancel before the renewal date to avoid charges.

6. Data & Account Effects

  • Upon cancellation, account access may end immediately; you are responsible for exporting any needed data beforehand.
  • Chat logs and related data are retained and deleted per your plan’s retention rules (typically 3–6 months).
  • We may anonymize or delete data sooner where required by law or to protect the Service.

7. Payment, Taxes & Currency

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method in the original currency paid, less non-recoverable payment network fees where applicable by law.
  • Taxes and duties are handled according to local regulations at the billing address or payment instrument region.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page and apply to future purchases or renewals.

Can I cancel my plan anytime?

Yes. You may cancel your plan at any time by sending a written email to support@iamadroid.com. For a full refund under the 30-day guarantee, the email must be received within 30 days of your first paid subscription payment.

How long does it take to receive a refund?

Approved refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your payment provider.

Does the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee apply to renewals?

No. The guarantee applies only to the first payment of a new paid plan. Renewals, upgrades, add-ons, and usage fees are not eligible for refunds./p>

If I upgrade my plan, when is the next payment due?

Upgrades are billed immediately, and your billing cycle and renewal date reset to the date of the upgrade.

What happens to my data after cancellation?

Once your account is cancelled, you will no longer have access to admin features. Chat logs and related data are retained for your plan’s retention period (3–6 months) before deletion or anonymization.

How do I downgrade from a paid to a free plan?

You can request a downgrade through your admin dashboard or by emailing support. Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date; no prorated refunds are issued for the remaining period.
